Learn a little more about Round Top....
It has been said that Round Top is in the middle of no where and yet in the middle of everything. Less than a hundred miles to Houston (95 miles) and Austin (75 miles) and 126 miles to San Antonio, this is no doubt the truth!
Round Top has wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and shopping. Texas Monthly writes about the town describing it as "the Aspen of Texas" (March issue 2016).
Round Top is known for our bi-annual Antique Week, but there is fabulous shopping to be done year round. You can outfit you home and fill your wardrobe without leaving city limits! Round Top boasts a number of specialty shops and art galleries. Take a short drive and visit neighboring Fayettevile, La Grange, Burton and Smithville for even more shopping adventures!
Round Top Antiques Week
Round Top is home to the bi-annual Antique Week stretching over 20 miles on highway 237; a mecca for antique and treasure hunters alike. Field after field, barn after barn showcase the highest to the lowest end of the antiques spectrum, there is something for everyone.
We are particularly proud of Festival Hill, our concert hall, a true Texas hidden treasure. It is one of the best in the country, acoustically speaking, and strikingly beautiful. The performance schedule is extensive and performances are exceptional.
